The perfect amount of heat to compliment the flavor.

This sauce delivers some good heat and the fruity/sweet flavor adds to many foods. Glad i ordered 2, because the first one is going fast.

Hands down my favorite hot sauce ever. Despite the awesomely unique flavor that adds life to just about everything you can put this on, even non-chili head users of this sauce will immediately know this when they taste it and remember it. I loved the original 1498 but felt it lost it's kick within a week or so of my using it normally(once a day, for me), but the Cauterizer has managed to keep its heat consistently(as far as my taste buds go). It tastes ridiculously fresh, like the batch of it was made minutes before you dabble it over your dish. I like to give it breaks once and awhile to see if I can come back to it and see if it will taste just as new and fresh as the first time I opened the bottle, and it does! It not extract based, do again, a very fresh taste and no artificial tasting background. I won't get into the flavor, it's just too awesome and mouth-watering to write in words. I've used this on fried chicken, pork chops, even in pasta and steak. Also, try it with really salty dishes(Like skirt steak or the aforementioned porkchops); Something about it works well with the salt!

Like many have said it has good heat but unlike many other sauces that have heat but taste like s*** this sauce makes everything taste better. I use it in pasta dishes, salsa of course, and anywhere else a bit of heat is needed. Complex taste that plays well with others. I also like Blairs and Melinda's and use these in combinations.

As all are saying this is the best tasting hot sauce out there. It has good heat but the best part is how flavorful it is. I am through the entire bottle and looking for more. Compliments to the chefs.

This is an wonderful sauce. A mixture of flavors that works with Pork, Beef, and Chicken. Extreamly spicy with a good flavor that makes you come back for more dispite the burning in your throat.
Highly recomend

I'm new to the HBD brand, but I have yet to get a bad or even mediocre product from them. The Cauterizer hot sauce may be the best of them all.
I made some burritos tonight with this sauce. Now not to brag but I know I make a good burrito, but the Cauterizer sauce only made my already excellent burrito ten times better.
This sauce is sort of like a Louisiana style hot sauce, but the flavor is much more complex. There is a sweet, fruity flavor, and then at the same time there is the bitter vinegary flavor present at the same time which we all associate with a Louisiana style hot sauce.
I found this sauce also to be just about perfect heatwise. It's fairly hot stuff; hot enough to satisy even the most hardcore chileheads, but at the same time it is not too hot where I can't run a line down my burrito either.
I have tried a large number of hot sauces on the market today, and without a doubt this is easily one of my top 5 hot sauces of all time. Possibly top 3. Possibly even #1. And so far, I only had it on a burrito!

I ordered this and it is intense but so delicious. I now use it on my hamburgers, fajita's and I even used it on my potato chips. The taste isn't just heat but a range of flavors. I love it.

I am seriously addicted to this hot sauce. There is absolutely nothing like it out there.
I started with the original 1498 back in early 2011 and that bottle lasted me a few weeks. I was a little hesitant to order it at first because I had this preconceived notion that a hot sauce isn't supposed to be sweet but, man, was I ever wrong.
Then I was introduced to the Cauterizer a few months back and, as they say, the rest is history.
I use this hot sauce on practically everything I eat. I can't wait for the weather to heat up so I can try it on vanilla ice cream.

For fun I ate a spoonful of this. It was the most delicious 20 minutes of pain I've ever gone through.

That hot sauce is boss, across my tongue I'm at a loss. It's taste, a double cross, it starts sweet, then comes across, a major heat, so intense I've got some hearing loss.

I tried it from a friend who just recently ordered it.
My experience was amazing.
A little dab on my finger just to get a taste for the sauce itself and put it on the tongue, instantly the flavor exploded in my mouth, this really sweet tangy sort of flavor then followed by a sudden rush of heat. The heat hit hard but it didn't mask the flavor of the sauce. For a good minute or so the flavor/smell of the sauce lingered and it was wonderful. The heat has lasted now for about 5 minutes and continues to burn in the best way.
I'd rate it higher but it wont let me.

After enjoying both the original 1498 Trinidad Scorpion and 1841 Ghost Pepper sauces and was ready to reorder, I saw this. This sauce is keeps the great flavor of the original 1498 but ramps up the heat. This sauce has great flavor and reaches my limit of how hot of sauce I can take.

I like the trinidad scorpion. I don't know if it quite lives up to the hype, but it has a good flavor regardless. I appreciate the floral aspects that compliment the heat, and I love the quick burning reward it gives. Unlike the jolokia, this won't smolder in your mouth for half an hour, but I imagine it will still hurt for a long time if you're unfamiliar with real hot stuff.
That said, the Cauterizer is all about the Trinidad Scorpion. HBD rightly claims the best flavor, but heat isn't sacrificed much in this sauce. As the big brother of the original 1498, the fruit and slight sweetness is preserved, while heat gets a big kick. The personality of the trinidad scorpion is more easily tasted, and the shortcomings of the pepper are perfectly complimented by the other ingredients in the sauce.
This sauce is just delicious. It is fruity and just a little sweet. The blueberry and apricot in particular balance the pepper well. The trinidad scorpion brings a serious snappy burn that torches the candle at both ends to come in force quickly and leave equally fast.
Highly recommended

I don't usually use hotsauce, but when I do, I use cauterizer.
something I have noticed with many hot sauces is that the hotter they get, the less flavor they have. This hot sauce is against that convention. This hot sauce has a great burn, but still an amazing flavor, which makes it one of a kind.

This sauce is fantastic, the sweet and spicy goes great on asian foods. The thing I like most about this sauce is that you can apply it liberally and still get the extreme heat whereas other extreme hot sauces take only a dab to set flames, and lose the flavor of the sauce. Great sauce def 5 out of 5. Can't wait to buy more and try the other products.
