My wife and I have been fans of HBD since the Brooklyn Chili Fiesta a couple of years ago. We have a constant reserve of the Jalapeno Pineapple in our pantry. Goes great on just about everything.

Last summer I needed to drop about 20 lbs. Actually, I think this summer I need to drop that same 20 again.
Anyway, Bland chicken breasts, and steamed veggies can get really old, really quick.
But, a little of this VERY flavorful sauce will spike up ANY bland "diet" meal.
Chicken chicken chicken is GREAT with this sauce. It is also GREAT on broccoli. Give it a shot!

I got married on 10.10.10. we had a nature inspired wedding utilizing local vendors, and during our outdoor ceremony we preformed a “tasting of the elements” ritual using different foods to help symbolize different aspects of marriage. Lemon juice, for the occasional sourness that comes from sacrifices and compromises. Vinegar, for the bitterness that may come in times of misunderstanding, miscommunication, denial or rejection. Honey, for the sweet times that come from hard work, team work, and the abundance of the life ahead, and finally,
Hot Sauce (my favorite, and a slight alteration to the traditional ritual), this was to symbolize that sometimes we experience pain and suffering, but everything will be better in the end, and we feel more alive because of it. We chose the jalapeño pineapple which also shows how sweet and spicy can work so well together; along with the “sensory seduction” and “searing passion” [good] hot sauces generate, there are sexual overtones delving deeper into the hot sauce analogy and symbolism. If there was ever a poet who spoke about the torture and ecstasy of love, it was Rimbaud, and that is why “Heartbreaking Dawns” was so beautifully and perfectly significant.
So we just want to thank you for working so hard and staying true to your values and mission to create something amazing which gives you so much pride (much like what my wife and I have done to get where we are). We also want to thank you for choosing such a meaningful name for your brand, and for fitting so well into the most important day of our lives. Thanks, from a True Chili Head who loves your hot sauce
